Rick Cote, professor of biochemistry, has received the Faculty Excellence Distinguished Professor Award for 2016. Chair of the molecular, cellular, and biomedical sciences department, Cote also conducts research, and says, “I think my entire career in research has really been founded on a sense of curiosity.”
