Novelist Elise Juska Visits UNH

DURHAM, N.H. - Elise Juska, author of the novel “Getting Over Jack Wagner,” will read from her work Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at 5 p.m. in Hamilton-Smith 129, at the University of New Hampshire. Juska also will sign copies of her work.

Sponsored by the UNH English Department's Writers Series, the lecture is free and open to the public.

Juska received a master's in writing from UNH in 1996. While at UNH she won the Lt. Albert Charait Award for best short story and the Tom Williams Memorial for overall body of fiction work. “Getting Over Jack Wagner” developed out of a short story she wrote while at UNH. Juska teaches writing at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
