George Michael, a.k.a. Mr. Antiques, Signs Book at UNH Bookstore

DURHAM, N.H. -- University of New Hampshire Continuing Education and the UNH Bookstore are pleased to offer an opportunity to meet longtime PBS personality, George Michael, a.k.a. Mr. Antiques, on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the UNH Bookstore.

Michael will sign copies of the fourth edition of his book, Mr. Antiques' Basic Book of Antiques, and answer questions on the who, what, where and how much of antiques and collectibles.

The UNH Bookstore is in the Memorial Union Building on Main Street in Durham. Metered parking is available in parking lots or on Main Street.

Then on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Michael will teach "Antiquing with the Expert," a seminar on how to better identify, appreciate and understand antiques. George Michael hosted the PBS series Antiques & Americana for nearly 25 years, and his syndicated column of the same name is read nationwide. A popular lecturer and acclaimed auctioneer, he is the author of six books.
