Dec. 3 UNH Lecture to Focus on Eating Disorders

DURHAM, N.H. -- Women and eating disorders will be the topic of discussion during a Friday, Dec. 3, presentation at the University of New Hampshire.
Sponsored by the Women¼s Studies Program and the President¼s Commission on the Status of Women, the program features guest speaker Jill Morgan, of Pennsylvania State University, and runs from 12:10 to 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Building entertainment center. The program is free and open to the public.
Morgan, a licensed psychologist and assistant professor of counseling psychology, has studied the cultural aspects of eating disorders, such as anorexia and bulimia, as well as treatment methods. Her most recent research focuses on sexual abuse in the backgrounds of women who develop eating disorders. For more information on the UNH presentation, contact Professor Mara Witzling at 862-2194.
