Career Center Helps Faculty and Staff Help Students
The Career Center wants to remind faculty and staff members that
they provide classroom presentations for students on such topics
as finding an internship, resume writing, the art of networking and interviewing
skills.
CC works with instructors to customize presentations to suit student
needs. This fall, they will also host several special events, beginning with
Practice
Interview Day, on September 28th, in Hood House. A complete list

UNH Scientist Appointed To US Arctic Research Commission By President Bush
Professor Charles Vörösmarty of the University of New Hampshire has been appointed to the United States Arctic Research Commission by President George W. Bush. The Commission, which is composed of seven presidential appointees, is charged with establishing the national policy, priorities, and goals necessary for federal programs in basic and applied scientific research concerning the Arctic. CIE Travel Report: Nancy Lukens
Nancy Lukens, Professor of German and Women’s Studies, was one of two faculty members the Center for International Education named as a recipient of a $2,000 Faculty International Engagement Award funded by the VPAA for 2006-07.
