Remember
to add your events to the new Web-based calendar
UNH's new Web-based calendar, which has been live since Monday, Sept.
20, provides a place where universitywide events can be posted and
viewed.
The calendar is located at the Web address http://calendar.unh.edu.
The calendar gives people a single location to submit events that
are sponsored by, hosted by, or in collaboration with a UNH department,
college, school or student organization. The person submitting the
event can choose to have it listed under 10 different categories:
academics, alumni events & activities, athletic & campus recreation,
campus meetings, conferences & seminars, fine & performing
arts, lectures & workshops, special events, students events &
programs, or UNH Manchester.
After an event is submitted, an administrator in University Communications
and Marketing (UCM) will review the information to make sure it is
complete and will automatically post the event.
People viewing the calendar will have the option of searching events
in each category, by several categories at a time, or may choose to
view all calendars to get a complete listing of all things taking
place at UNH on a given day, week or month.
Members of the university community are encouraged to familiarize
themselves with the calendar by reading the “ Help” instructions
located in the grey tool bar at the top of the calendar homepage.
It gives all the information needed to view the calendar, as well
as submit, modify or delete an event.
It is anticipated that the calendar will eventually replace all the
individual calendars maintained across the UNH campus, and provide
a one-stop place where members of the university community and public
can both submit events and see what is happening on the campus. |
