Dance, Puppetry and Storytelling, and Dance Showcases Featured Dec.
7-9
The Department of Theatre and Dance is pleased to announce the following
entertaining showcases performed, directed, designed, and choreographed
by theatre and dance students. Original student works will encompass
a multitude of styles. Proceeds benefit theatre and dance scholarships.
Aerial Dance Showcase will be performed Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. in the
UNH Newman Dance Studio at New Hampshire Hall. Come see these amazing
student performances, choreographed and set to music, in aerial
arts, trapeze, lyra, and fabric!
Puppetry and Storytelling Showcase will be performed Dec. 8 at 7
p.m. in the Hennessy Theatre, PCAC. Children and adults will be
captivated by the variety of puppets and by the creative presentations
of stories offered by the Puppetry and Storytelling students. Original
puppetry presentations will encompass hand and rod, shadow, and
life-size puppets. Storytelling performances will include lively
and engaging stories for all ages.
Dance Showcase will be performed Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Johnson
Theatre, PCAC. The eclectic evening of dance performance will include
a wide range of dance forms and styles; from jazz and tap, to hip-hop
and ballet. Audiences of all ages will enjoy this artistic evening,
filled with fun.
Tickets are $3.50. Advanced ticket purchase is recommended.
