USNH’s human resources team has compiled detailed important information, tools and resources for the upcoming open enrollment period in the latest USNH Human Resources Bulletin.

Highlights include:

  • 2017 Active Open Enrollment begins October 24. “Active” open enrollment means all eligible employees must participate and either select or waive a medical plan option. If you do not make a selection, you will be defaulted into the Open Access Plus Health Savings Account plan with employee-only coverage. Open enrollment will be handled through the MyUSNHBenefits Employee Portal.
  • USNH will continue to offer a Health Savings Account (HSA) through Cigna’s Open Access Plus HSA medical plan, utilizing Cigna’s HSA Bank. USNH HR notes the HSA plan has higher annual deductibles than the other Open Access Plus plans but also a lower biweekly employee contribution, increasing your take-home pay. In addition, USNH will make a contribution to your HSA account to help you pay for your qualified medical expenses.
  • Cigna will offer Telehealth Connection expanded access to care through phone and video chat to healthcare providers in 2017.
