The senior vice provost of Engagement and Academic Outreach will host informational meetings for tenure-track, Extension and research faculty who seek to enhance their scholarly agendas through external funding and are interested in applying for the 2017 Research and Engagement Academy.

The info sessions are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 5, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Memorial Union Building (MUB) Room 207, Durham 
  • Thursday, Oct. 6, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Dean’s Conference Room, Manchester

Reservations are not necessary; drop in for this informal meeting.

The Research and Engagement Academy is a semester-long learning community with seven interactive workshops targeting successful strategies with federal agencies and foundations; individualized coaching by faculty experts on the grant writing process, and time interacting with like-minded colleagues.  

Faculty from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Applications are due Wednesday, November 9, 2016, by 5 p.m.
