Chief Paul Dean now has new responsibilities in his role — and an additional title.

Christopher Clement, UNH’s vice president for finance and administration, has announced Dean’s role now includes safety-related risk management and he has the title of assistant vice president for public safety and risk management to reflect his additional responsibilities. Dean will continue to serve as chief of the UNH Police Department

“Chief Dean will continue to build on the ongoing success of the University Police Department,” Clement wrote in his announcement of Dean’s new role. “In addition, he will evaluate the institution’s readiness for the future and ensure the effective integration and operations for all aspects of public safety and safety-related risk management for the University of New Hampshire.”
