Candidates for AVP of CIS visiting campus
Four candidates for assistant vice president of CIS will visit campus July 11-22, 2005, and will be available to discuss their qualifications with faculty and staff at open forums. The candidates are Margaret Cline, Thomas Franke, John Kalkbrenner, and Christopher Wessells. The open forums will be held in Dimond 510 and schedule is as follows: Margaret Cline, July 12, 4 to 5 p.m.; Thomas Franke, July 15, 11 a.m. to noon; John Kalkbrenner, July 18, 2 to 3 p.m.; and Christopher Wessells, July 22, 11 a.m. to noon.
Reception for John Griffith is July 25
A reception for John Griffith, who has accepted a new position at
Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m.
July 25 in the Great Bay Room at the New England Center. He has
worked at the university for 15 years, seven years at the controller’s
office before becoming an assistant vice president eight years ago.
Along with his many accomplishments at UNH, he was instrumental
in the development of RCM at UNH. He is a second generation UNH
employee; his father was the director of development at NHPTV. He
grew up in Durham and graduated from UNH with a degree in business
administration. After three years as a CPA, he returned to UNH for
a temporary assignment and never left.

Six UNH students have been appointed by the
governor to serve on the State Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice.
All New Hampshire residents, they serve with judges, law enforcement
