This room is NOT under the control of the University Registrar's Office and is NOT available for reservation at this time.

This room is equipped with an AV system capable of presenting from a portable device, installed Blu-Ray player, cable TV, or using the ZOOM videoconferencing software with the installed camera and microphones.

 

  • Make sure your device is powered on and awake.
  • Connect your device using the supplied HDMI or VGA cables.
  • If your device requires a display adapter, connect adapter to cable first, then connect adapter to your device.
  • If necessary, select your desired source on the AV Touch Panel.

Use the instructions below to present using the Audiovisual System

  • Select your desired source on the AV touch panel. There is a main wireless AV touch panel as well as a secondary flip-up touch panel in the table. These can be used interchangeably.
  • HDMI and VGA source icons will appear in the touch panel Source Selection list when a device is connected. To project from a laptop or portable device using a display adapter, first connect the HDMI or VGA cable to the adapter, then connect the adapter to your device. Select the HDMI or VGA source on the touch panel.
  • If you are connecting a laptop to the system for the first time, it may be necessary to adjust video or audio settings on your laptop. View the system usage documentation linked below for laptop troubleshooting tips.
  • Selecting the Cable TV or Blu-Ray source will display the controls for that source on the AV touch panel.

Please Note: If Wireless Touch Panel is not working, use the secondary touch panel located in the flip-up cable cubby built into the far end of the table.

Use the instructions below to start a Zoom meeting:

  1. On the AV Touch Panel, select ZOOM ROOM as your source device
  2. On the iPad, select Meet Now in Zoom app
  3. Remote participants should navigate to join.zoom.us using a web browser, then input the Meeting ID#. The Meeting ID# for this room is displayed at the top of the iPad screen
  4. After joining the meeting, any user can invite others by clicking Invite in Zoom software on your laptop
  5. Adjust system volume on the AV touch panel if necessary. View the system usage documentation linked below for advanced usage information

Joining a Zoom meeting in progress:

  1. On the AV Touch Panel, select ZOOM ROOM as your source device
  2. On the iPad, select Join in Zoom app
  3. Input the Meeting ID# you wish to join
