UNH Youth Symphony Orchestras

The University of New Hampshire Youth Symphony Orchestra (UNH-YSO) has provided quality orchestral experiences to string students in the NH seacoast region, southern Maine, and northeastern Massachusetts since 2013. By providing quality musical instruction and high standards of rigor, the UNH-YSO seeks to help students develop in their technical capabilities and musical understanding.

Visit UNH-YSO to learn more.

Please note: The UNH-YSO is a pre-admission program. Only students who have completed an audition and received an offer of placement in the program may register. All students must audition each year, including returning members. DO NOT register and pay tuition without first completing an audition, as tuition payments are non-refundable.

To schedule an audition, please email david.upham@unh.edu

All prospective UNH-YSO members should read and review the Student & Family Handbook.

If you have completed an audition and received an offer of placement: You may enroll a student in and pay for the fall and spring semesters separately, or you can enroll a student in and pay for both semesters at the time of initial registration.

Click the '+' sign on the block(s) on the right to register for either fall or spring, or both semesters.

Registration for Fall semester closes on Oct. 1, 2019. Registration for Spring semester closes on March 1, 2020.

Please refer to our Online Registration Instructions, especially if you are enrolling more than one child or using this system for the first time. Each child must have an individual account and the enrollments done separately within each account. If your child has an account already, do not create another!
