Afternoon 1: Social CTF for an ice breaker, using the GenCyberCoin game
Afternoon 2: Lecture on web application security using Hacksplaining
Afternoon 3: Use lessons learned with the GenCyberCoin game
Tuesday: “A history of secrets”
Morning 1: Cryptography history lessons (Caesar, Vigenere, Enigma)
Morning 2: Hands-on based on Pringles can Enigma. https://cyber.org/enigma
Afternoon 1: Modern cryptography lesson (AES, RSA)
Afternoon 2: Hands-on using online tools CyberChef and RSA Calculator
Wednesday: “Spies and Codes”
Morning 1: Lesson on Linux security ChromSecureShell
Morning 2: Campers connect and experiment with a KaliLinux deployment in the Cloud setting up for the afternoon exercise
Afternoon 1: Lesson on steganography approaches and tools. Java and Python examples
Afternoon 2: Working in small “spy” teams campers send and decode secret messages
Thursday: “Virtual treasure hunts” small teams 3-4
Morning 1: Tools lecture: Google Maps, Geocaching, What3Words, Earth point systems
Morning 2: NH based hunt
Afternoon 1: USA based hunt
Afternoon 2: International hunt
Friday: “Cryptopuzzles”
All day: Using the tools and methods learned all week spend the day solving a wide range of puzzles. This is largely a replay of the UNHash '21 High School CTF with new/additional puzzles.
