UNH Campus Recreation offers four opportunities for students in Grades 1-6 to HAVE FUN and GET ACTIVE during NH school vacation weeks!
Kool 2B Fit: a great opportunity to have fun and keep active during vacation! The program incorporates fitness activities while emphasizing healthy lifestyle choices. Campers engage in a variety of non-competitive activities including swimming, adaptive sports, group games, sports, team builders, fitness classes, and scavenger hunts. Enrollment is limited to 65 students; cost is $75.
This program is offered during both the February and April vacation weeks, Monday - Friday; 8 am - 12 noon at the UNH Hamel Recreation Center.
Cooks and Crafts: Learn how fun and easy cooking can be in our new Demonstration Kitchen! Participants prepare delicious recipes in an interactive, fun, and safe environment, and eat their creations for lunch at the end of each session. Classes emphasize food safety and making health choices and are led by UNH Health & Wellness NOURISH Program Instructors. Campers also complete a craft project after lunch. Enrollment is limited to 25 students; cost is $70.
This program is offered during the February vacation week only, Monday - Friday from 12 - 2 pm at the Hamel Recreation Center.
Youth Tennis Clinic: offers participants a one week (5 session) introduction to competitive tennis, aiming to develop quick competencies in tennis strokes and mechanics. No previous experience is required - participants are grouped by age and/or skill level. Enrollment is limited to 25 students; cost is $25.
Rackets: A limited number of rackets are available for use. If bringing a racket, kids ages 6-7 may bring a 23 inch racquet; kids ages 8-9 may bring a 25 inch racquet. Participants should be able to easily maneuver their racquet.
The Tennis Clinic is offered during the April vacation week only, Monday - Friday from 12:45 - 1:45 pm at the UNH Tennis Courts on Main St. in Durham.

The Tennis Clinic is held at the Tennis Courts aside the UNH Field House, 145 Main St., Durham.
Snack is provided each day, but children are encouraged to bring additional items from home and a water bottle. Athletic sneakers are required in the recreation center and all children should dress for physical activities. Special activities in the pool or off campus will be announced so that families can prepare accordingly.
