MVS Veterans Lounge

Open Daily, M-F 8 am-5 pm, T-hall, 314

Available to our UNH Veteran students, we encourage you to visit the lounge to relax, take a break, study, or just be among one another. Amenities include a TV, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and plenty of work space. 

Brown Bag Lunches

Every Day in the Veterans Lounge, 11:30-1 pm 


All veterans and military service members are invited to join us for our Brown Bag Lunches. The lunches provide opportunities for networking with fellow vets, connecting with various campus services, announcements, explaining benefits, and any important service changes. Bring a lunch from home, or grab something to-go at the MUB. Tickets to various UNH sporting events will be provided when available!

In an effort to improve the lives of our student veterans, UNH has purchased the Kognito, Veterans on Campus Peer Program. Using funds from the Garrett Lee Smith federal suicide prevention grant, this program allows UNH students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to learn on how to best serve and support student veterans . The program can be found at the UNH Counseling Center website



Gillman Scholarship-Student Veterans are encouraged to apply for the Gillman Scholarship! The Gilman Scholarship helps assist students on Pell Grants to study abroad.
Boren Scholarships -  Boren scholarships are an initiative of the National Security Education Program and are aimed toward highly motivated individuals who wish to work in the federal national security arena after graduation


American Australian Association - The AAVSF will award ten applicants a grant of $40,000 to support full-time international study for one year. The award can be used to support tuition, living, travel, and other associated costs and can be applied to support technical, undergraduate, and graduate programs at an accredited US or Australian institution.
