Programming Outreach and Support Specialist
(603) 862-0643 or

Denny is a part-time Support Specialist who works with programming and support for all military/Veteran students. He spent 37 years in the recreational sports field at seven different universities over his career. In November of 2012, Denny retired at the Director of Campus Recreation at UNH. As a US Navy submarine Veteran, working with Veterans is a particular interest. Denny is a member of the Pease Greeters, the DAV, and American Legion.

A graduate of both Michigan State (twice) and The College of William and Mary, he is a huge supporter of Michigan State.  Denny has taught in the Recreation and Sports area for over 25 years and currently teaches ARC First Aid and CPR for the Campus Rec Dept. and does some consulting in recreational sports and facilities around the region.

Denny coordinates and presents 'Green Zone Trainings' to UNH departments, offices, classes, and the community as an introduction to the student Veteran population on campus. With five departments already participating in this educational training, the end goal is to have all UNH departments and staff participate to make UNH a more Veteran Friendly environment. Denny works closely with our student Veterans to ensure data, content, and information is relevant and up-to-date.

While not in the office, Denny enjoys watching and attending sporting events, spending time with his friends and family, and, of course, playing golf.
