James Krasner

Professor of English

James Krasner joined UNH in 1989. He studies Victorian literature, especially Sherlock Holmes. He also researches medical humanities, animals and literature, and the Bible as literature.

Professor Krasner is able to assist the media as an expert in the following topics: Victorian works such as Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, A Christmas Carrol and Alice in Wonderland; which remain quite popular and have a significant impact on current popular culture. These books also had many fans when they were published, and Mr. Krasner is interested in the behavior of the fans of these works, then and now..
