What did you study at UNH?

English; education minor

What were you doing one year out of college?

I was working in childcare and deciding whether or not I wanted to go back to school for teaching.

What were you doing five years out of college?

I was in graduate school at Rutgers University, working on my Master of Library and Information Science, interning at the library at the U. S. Golf Association Museum, and working part time at Verizon Wireless Corporate.

What were you doing 10 years out of college?

I have been in my current job, as librarian at the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in Newport, R.I., since 2011.

What are you doing now?

As the librarian at a sports museum, I help patrons with tennis history questions, assist co-workers looking to locate items within our archive and handle our book and periodical collection. Our museum is undergoing a renovation and I played a part in writing the text and selecting the photos for the new museum.

How do you feel your time at UNH has had an impact on where you are today?

My four years at UNH were a wonderful time in my life. I made lifelong friends, participated in Project Sunshine, and studied abroad in London, among other things. UNH provided the building blocks I needed to pursue my masters degree, and ultimately my career.
