Add/Drop Instructions

Information for Fall 2017

Until Tuesday, September 5th at 4:30pm

To add a course:

  1. Using your Registration Access Code (RAC), sign into Webcat online registration.
    • If you do not have your RAC, contact your academic advisor
  2. Check for spaces in a class using the Class Search button
  3. You can add a class that still has seats available
    • A section must have a number in the "Resv" column for there to be seats remaining
  4. Click Complete and view your new schedule
If a class you want to add is full:
  1. Attend the class with a copy of the Registration Override Form
  2. Speak with the professor to see if you can add the course
  3. If the professor says you can add the course, they will sign your Registration Override Form
    • If there is no space in the class, you should find another section or course to attend
  4. Bring the completed form with the professor's signature to the department office
  5. Once the form is processed, you can add yourself to the course using the Webcat online registration

To drop a course:

  1. Using your Registration Access Code (RAC), sign into Webcat online registration.
    • If you do not have your RAC, contact your Academic Advisor
  2. Select drop/delete for the course you want to dropScreenShot
  3. Click Complete and view your new schedule

Tuesday, September 5th at 4:30 pm until Friday, September 8th at 4:30pm

To add a course:
 

  1. Attend the class with a copy of the Add/Drop Form (Change of Registration Form)
  2. Speak with the professor to see if you can add the course
  3. If the professor says you can add the course, they will sign your Add/Drop Form
    • If there is no space in the class, you should find another section or course to attend
  4. Bring the completed form to your advisor to get his/her signature
  5. Once you have both the professor and advisor signatures, bring the completed Add/Drop From to the Registrar's Office (Stoke Hall)

To drop a course:

  3. Bring the completed form to your advisor to get his/her signature
  4. Once you have both the professor and advisor signatures, bring the completed Add/Drop From to the Registrar's Office (Stoke Hall)

Friday, September 8th at 4:30pm until Friday, September 29th at 4:30pm

Note: Courses cannot be added after Friday, September 8th at 4:30pm
