Introduction

Welcome to the online permit store.

Whenever possible, students, not their parents, should apply for the permit so that the permit user fully understands the regulations and terms of use.

You’ll need vehicle information, address information, and student ID number to apply.

In this process…

  • You will agree to the terms & conditions of the use of the permit and parking on campus.
  • Be given an information sheet specific to the permit type you order.  You will be given instructions on how to apply.
  • Then you link to the online order site.  Permits are ordered through an off-campus vendor.  Fees are charged to your student billing account.
  • Upon approval of your application, your permit will be delivered to you in the US Mail.

NEW!!  Because of high demand for campus resident permits, the online parking permit sales process has adopted a "sales calendar" which will proceed according to class rank (as determined in the student database on the day of purchase).

The '18-'19 online sales will proceed as follows:

Group(s)

May apply anytime starting...

Grad & Senior campus residents and
Commuters of any class year...

Monday, July 23, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern.

Junior campus residents...

Tuesday, July 24, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern.

Sophomore campus residents...

Wednesday, July 25, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern

(Freshman campus residents are not eligible for a parking permit).
General sales to any eligible applicants will continue after the starting dates described above; resident permits subject to sell out.

IMPORTANT NOTES...PLEASE READ:

  • Online applications are automatically time-stamped.  Early applications will be denied, and will need to be done over.
  • Class rank status and campus residency housing assignments are determined by how they are posted in the student database at the time the application is reviewed.  Transportation Services cannot determine, and therefore is not responsible for pending/delayed updates to student database information.
  • Please note that because of heightened demand, all applications for "E/E1" and "Forest Park" permits will be manually reviewed (automatic approvals turned off) based on the time-stamped order of submission.  So all applications for these permit types will start out as "pending review", and the applicant must check his/her e-mail for the decision of the review.  Once these permits are sold out (which happens fast) a link to an online wait-list form will be made available.
