Sandra Aronson

Network and Program Coordinator, Food Solutions New England

Sandra Aronson is a passionate public health professional dedicated to building resilient and sustainable food systems through effective partnerships and collaborations. She serves as the Network and Program Coordinator for Food Solutions New England where she manages the Network Leadership Institute, works on stakeholder engagement, and supports general program coordination to advance the organization's goals.

Sandra has experience in public health, food systems research, and nutrition policy. She previously worked at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture in Cali, Colombia, where she studied how to incorporate sustainability-focused strategies into municipal development plans. During the COVID pandemic, she served as a liaison for Partners In Health, consulting and providing resource support to local health departments in Massachusetts. Additionally, Sandra offers guidance on strategic planning and communication strategies to Develop CHI, a housing and community development start-up in Massachusetts.

Sandra is committed to using her skills to create a more equitable, just, and sustainable food system for all. When she's not working, Sandra enjoys riding her bike, gardening, cooking, and reading at home in Boston.

Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Sandra moved to Boston to attend Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she graduated with a BFA. She also holds a dual MS/MPH degree from Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and Tufts School of Medicine.
