George Anderson ‘22
George is an Environmental Science: Ecosystems major with a minor in Geography from Bow, New Hampshire. His passion for community service and civic engagement led him to become the Vice President of Community Relations on the Interfraternity Council, where he organized community service and outreach opportunities for the university's eleven recognized fraternities. He is an avid outdoorsman, often spending his free time volunteering on local trail maintenance hikes and invasive species removals as well as assisting with citizen science projects. George joined the Sustainability Institute’s team as an intern, supporting the Zero Waste Task Force to increase UNH’s waste diversion efforts. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and going out to eat or grab coffee at one of his favorite local restaurants and cafés.
