10th Annual NH Social Venture Innovation Challenge: Keynote and Awards

Ten years after winning UNH's first NH Social Venture Innovation Challenge (SVIC), Alex Freid '13 (COLA political science and philosophy majors) returns to campus to accept one of UNH's most prestigious honors, the 2022 Social Innovator of the Year, at the culminating events of the 10th Annual SVIC. Founder of the Post-Landfill Action Network, Alex and team have engaged with over 50,000 students in the last decade on mission for a zero waste world. Freid will deliver a keynote address and help award prizes to this year’s winners of the SVIC. Earlier in the day from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., ten finalists will present their ideas to solve a sustainability problem to a panel of distinguished judges. The day’s events are free and open to the public, but registration is required.
