CONNECT STEM

Who We Are

CONNECT STEM

CONNECT STEM is a free, donor-funded branch of the CONNECT Program specifically designed for students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields.

The Program includes a year long mentoring partnership which helps engage students with their coursework, provides professional development through networking and internships, explores future employment opportunities, and prepares for graduate and professional education.

Our Goal

CONNECT STEM aims to  support historically underrepresented students in STEM fields. We advocate for participating CONNECT STEM students to have a seamless transition to UNH! By completing the CONNECT STEM program, students will gain the skills and support network to enhance their first semester and build on their academic foundation.

When Is It?

CONNECT STEM takes places two weeks before the start of the academic year.  Forty spots are reserved for College of Engineering and Physics (CEPS) and College of Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA) students. Housing, meals, and activities are provided at non cost to students.
