Resources for Community Partners

Are you looking to engage UNH students in your community change efforts? There are a number of ways to get them involved!

Post your volunteer opportunities on UNH Serves

UNH Serves is our online platform for student community service. Click "Sign Up", then click "Want to sign up your partner?". This will prompt you to create a profile for your organization. From there, you can share one-time, occasional, or ongoing volunteer opportunities for UNH students to sign up for.

Hire a Small Family Community Fellow

The goal of the Small Family Community Fellowship is to provide opportunities for students to "Embrace NH" by applying what they learn in the classroom to real-world needs at the local level. We place students at New Hampshire nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies for 30-hour, 10-week summer fellowships, fully funded by a generous donor. By combining the students’ academic pathways with community service, we can enhance both student growth and the common good. The proposal deadline is in November of each year.

Request a spotlight in the Community Engagement Newsletter

If you have an opportunity that doesn't fit either of the first two options, such as a community gathering, an academic-year community service internship, etc., email Chloe by Thursday to get it added to the weekly email newsletter. This email goes out every Sunday. Please include a date and time, location, and a paragraph describing the opportunity. JPEG or PNG posters are always appreciated - please do not send a PDF.
