RIFC 50 IndexTM

The RIFC 50 Index, initially published in 2002 by the University of New Hampshire’s Rosenberg International Franchise Center (RIFC), is the first stock index to track the financial market performance of the US franchising sector.  It is a stock portfolio comprised of 50 US public franchising companies representative of the US business format franchising sector. Index tracking begins with the year 2000 and is updated quarterly. 

 

RIFC International Franchise Attractiveness IndexTM

The  RIFC International Franchise Attractiveness Index is an annual index that ranks 131 countries according to their attractiveness as international franchise expansion markets for US-based franchises. This index is generated through a quantitative model that is based on peer-reviewed research and a survey of franchise executives. The model produces two different index rankings (Balanced Growth and Aggressive Growth) based on a company's risk tolerance levels.

 

RIFC Global Social Franchise IndexTM

The RIFC Global Social Francise Index is an annual index that ranks 131 countries according to the impacts social entrepreneurship and social franchising can have on their country’s citizens’ well-being. This index incorporates metrics that include a country’s citizens’ health conditions, education levels, income, population size, as well as the riskiness of operating in that country.
