Dunkin' Brands Donation
In June of 2015, Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc., the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, donated $250,000 to the Rosenberg International Franchise Center (RIFC). The center, which is named after Dunkin’ Donuts founder William Rosenberg, is grateful to Dunkin’ Brands for their generous gift and their commitment to Rosenberg’s vision.
The RIFC explores and advances the understanding of franchising through research, education, and outreach, and offers courses for business students at the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
The $250,000 donation is being paid over a five-year period and is being used to launch several new RIFC initiatives, including a Franchise Pioneers of the World webpage to recognize pioneers in international franchising and diverse franchise business models. Funds are also being used to develop new franchising courses, and to expand the center’s research in international franchising and franchising opportunities for minorities and women.
