Dr. William Regli, Special Assistant to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Director and previously DARPA’s Defense Sciences Office (DSO) Acting Director and Deputy Director, will discuss how DARPA supports high-risk, high-payoff research occurring in U.S. universities.

Six DARPA technical offices support research across a wide spectrum, including engineering biology, math/modeling, physical systems, social systems, navigation, and communications and networks.  (For a complete list of DARPA’s detailed current research topics by Office, see https://unh.box.com/v/DARPAOffices.)

Early contact with DARPA is critical to funding success.  Dr. Regli will explain how and when to engage with the agency.  He will also present information on DARPA’s Young Faculty Award (YFA) program.
