International Social-Behavioral Research Standards Available

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) has released a listing of social-behavioral research standards for 18 countries around the world, and for UNESCO.

The information is presented in tabular form, including a description and an analysis of each standard, and is designed for use by IRBs, researchers, sponsors, and others involved in human subjects research around the world.

In addition to the United States, the countries listed include:

Norway
Philippines
Saudi Arabia
South Africa
Sweden
United Kingdom
