Colorado State University (CSU) will host a plagiarism workshop on the CSU’s Fort Collins campus on May 8, 2013.  Live web-streaming will be offered to registrants who are unable to travel to CSU.

Among the featured speakers are:

  • Scott J. Moore, Investigative Scientist, National Science Foundation Office of the Inspector General, who will talk about “To Cite or Not to Cite: The Plagiarist's Dilemma.”
  • John E. Dahlberg, Director of Investigative Oversight, HHS Office of Research Integrity, on how his office handles the complex issues associated with plagiarism.

The workshop will also include panel discussions on plagiarism from the perspectives of scientific journal editors, research integrity officers, and teachers/instructors of writing. Adam Marcus of and Sara Rouhi of ACS Publications will join the discussion.
