BIO: Stephanie A. Goodwin

Stephanie A. GoodwinDr. Stephanie A. Goodwin (Lead Facilitator: Bias Awareness & Intervention Lab) is Director for Faculty Development & Leadership at Wright State University (WSU) where she assesses, develops, and implements campus-wide faculty development and leadership initiatives. Her scholarly expertise and interests include: social biases (e.g., stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination), with projects on subtle biases, impression formation, social power, and NSF-funded collaborative research on bias confrontation. Prior to her current role, Goodwin served as Program Director for the LEADER Consortium’s multi-institutional NSF ADVANCE effort to promote faculty equity and success in STEM disciplines in Dayton, OH.  She earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Goodwin is an elected Fellow of the Society of Experimental Social Psychology
