Campus & Community Involvement

Fraternities and Sororities were founded on the principles of academic achievement, service to community and camaraderie. Each year there are millions of dollars generated for non-profit charitable agencies by the Fraternity and Sorority Community nation-wide. At UNH, Fraternities and Sororities raised over 200,000 dollars in the Spring of 2020 from philanthropy events. 

Campus Involvement

Members of the Fraternity and Sorority Community are involved in over 200 other student organizations on campus. Fraternity & Sorority Life strongly encourages involvement in other organizations besides recognized Fraternity and Sorority chapters to help develop leadership skills and to help build community relations. Community Activities

Every year Fraternity & Sorority Life, IFC and Panhel  councils coordinate local community fundraising activities to help give back to the Durham community.

Every year UNH Fraternities and Sororities raise thousands of dollars for national and local philanthropies. With philanthropy being one of the core values, giving back to those charities helps us achieve our fundamental goals of being a member of the Fraternity and Sorority community.
