Michael Galgano is a Veteran of the US Navy, having spent six years on active duty as a submarine Engineering Laboratory Technician with two Western Pacific Deployments. Mr. Galgano is graduating this year with his MBA from the Paul School. He is very pleased to note that he is graduating as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society. Michael chose to attend UNH because it offered more than just a valuable education; it provided an opportunity to be around like minded individuals, grow his leadership skills, and expand his professional and social network. Indeed, the connections he made were his favorite part of studying at UNH. Michael also quickly learned that military leadership skills do not always transfer into other leadership positions. He encourages incoming student Veterans to remember that, “It is important to be disciplined and hardworking, because that's what everyone loves about Veterans, but also resilient and open minded when working with all walks of life.” Mr. Galgano looks forward to finding employment in human and health services with a non-profit management firm or with the government.
