Critical Thinking, Science Education, and Pseudscientific Belief

Studies detailing courses taught that supposably reduce pseudoscientific beliefs are critically reviewed. Threats to the internal validity of these studies are considered. The studies are found to suffer from many threats to their internal validity, which make their findings questionable. Methods of applying science education knowledge and critical thinking skills to reducing pseudoscientific belief in future research are proposed.
