“I want to go into either human-computer interaction or robotics. I’d like to work for Google or Facebook, but the ultimate dream job is having my own Google.”

What is a typical day for you?
I go to class — I have 8 a.m.s every day. Then I go to the gym. Then I usually have lunch with my staff members, who now are my friends. Then I do homework until night. We have this lounge in Upper Quad where we sit and hang out/study.
What is your research advisor like?
He pushes us to do more but is also easy-going and doesn’t put stress on us, so it’s been a very nice experience.
What inspired you to become a resident assistant (RA)?
I became an RA because of my first year RA — she helped me adapt. I wanted to do that for others. I want them to have the feeling that I had — the feeling of being accepted, of being welcome. It’s like a second home for me here, and I feel the people here have created that atmosphere.
