Dear Members of the Wildcat Community,
The hatred and violence that took place this past weekend in Charlottesville, led by the white supremacist movement, is reprehensible and deeply disturbing. We, as a nation, must stand united to combat racism, anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry.
In less than two weeks, we will welcome over 3,000 new students to our Wildcat family. Let’s all commit to work together to build a university community in which everyone is safe, to cultivate a climate of mutual respect and civil discourse, and to create learning and living spaces where everyone can thrive.
