Congratulations Amy Maltagliati of GSC and Dan McLeod of UNH Newly Graduated Lean Black Belts
Friday, June 1, 2018, was a very proud moment as we add 2 more Lean Black Belts within USNH Higher Education.
Amy Maltagliati of Granite State College and Dan McLeod of the University of New Hampshire completed their requirements and graduated with the Lean Black Belts from the State of New Hampshire Bureau of Education and Training. Both Dan and Amy started by attending the UNH Introduction to Lean class, they then attended the UNH 4 day Lean Yellow Belt class and became Lean Yellow Belt Certified. They quickly found their passion with Lean and decided to attend the UNH Green Belt Certification class and became Certified Lean Green Belt Facilitators. As they continued to practice their trade by facilitating Lean projects they soon decided to take it that final step further to begin their Lean Black Belt journey. Amy and Dan along with 6 other State of NH employees worked over several months to learn different Lean concepts, work together as a team, explore and complete their projects and presented their capstone to their sponsors before finally receiving their Lean Black Belt certification.
Please join the PMO in congratulating our 2 new Lean Black Belts. We are excited you have engaged in the continuous improvement efforts within higher education.
