At the beginning of FY18, UNH IT Telecom successfully transitioned the resident halls from a shared wired/wireless environment to a wireless-only environment. This transition allows the University to save approximately $1.5 million on cabling upgrades and equipment replacement.

Microsoft has announced July 1 as the end of support date for a critical part of our infrastructure that is used to connect our third-party telephone (PBX) system to Exchange Online Unified Messaging.
