UNH Students and OER

UNH Students -

Are you concerned about the cost of textbooks and other course materials?

UNH is in its fourth year of supporting projects by faculty who are committed to using Open Educational Resources (OER) to lower the cost of course materials and improve student learning.  Over the past four years, faculty who have used OER in their courses have saved students up to $320,000.  We think this is a great start!

Interested in getting the word out about OER?

Let your UNH Student Senate representative know that the issue of textbook costs matters to you.  Better yet, point them to this student government toolkit that explains what they can do to begin the conversation on campus.

The idea is catching on - here is just one example of what University of Missouri students are doing to promote OER.

Let's work together to make UNH more affordable!
