The following is a legitimate communication sent by UNH Information Technology to UNH students. 

The subject of the email is "UNH Password Change Reminder".

Your password must be changed within the next 1 day(s) to comply with the new University System of New Hampshire (USNH) policy. Failure to comply with USNH policy will result in UNH Information Technology (IT) disabling your account.

To change your password, use the following instructions:

 - Browse to (link removed)
 - Click on 'UNH Account Log In Help'
 - Click on 'Change Your Password' (on the left) and follow the on-screen instructions.

UNH IT will not disable accounts on weekends or on days when UNH offices are officially closed due to a holiday or curtailed operations. UNH IT will disable accounts with overdue passwords when UNH offices reopen.
