UNH will be switching chat platforms this summer. Microsoft is discontining the use of Skype for Business and is replacing it with Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams is a chat-based workspace in Office 365 that makes it easy to have conversations, share files and collaborate on documents, and get work done with teams across the organization. Microsoft Teams lets you work in a natural, conversational way — with everything you need in one place — available anytime, on any device.

For video and audio conferencing, continue using Zoom.  For chat and collaboration, begin using Microsoft Teams now.  Starting February 3, Skype for Business users will see a banner informing them of the upgrade to Microsoft Teams.  Click the “Try it” button to start using the Chat feature in Microsoft Teams now.
