Phishing Email: Subject = Varies Sender: Plymouth State Email Address

September 5, 2018

by UNH Information Security Services

UNH Information Security Services has received reports of a phishing email targeting UNH users that seeks to obtain UNH user credentials via a fake log in page.  These emails are being sent from valid Plymouth State University email addresses and the subject line of the email varies as it usually references a subject  line previously used by the targeted user in a real email sent to the compromised PSU account.

For example - If you previously sent an email to someone at PSU with the subject "3v3 Tournament" and receive an email from someone at PSU with the subject "re: 3v3 Tournament" that claims the email can't be displayed, it is part of this phishing attack.
