The following is a legitimate University communication sent by the Information Security Services (ISS) team.
The subject is "Mandatory UNH Password Change Required" and the sender is IT.Security (info.sec @unu.edu).
UNH IT was recently alerted that your UNH email account and associated password were publicly posted on a website.
As a result, you need to change your UNH password by 5pm tomorrow. We understand that changing your password can be challenging and apologize for any inconvenience.

Failure to change your password within this window will result in the securing of your UNH account. If your account is secured, you will not be able to access any UNH computing resources, and you will need to do one of the following to get your access restored:
In the event you need to restore your account over the weekend, you can leave a voicemail at the Service Desk (603-862-4242) between the hours of 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM on Saturday May 20th and Sunday May 21st and a Service Desk technician will return your call within 2 hours and provide assistance in recovering your account. This extended weekend coverage is limited to assisting users with secured account restoration.
