Microsoft Exchange Online Protection

In an effort to increase its fight against spam and malware, UNH has opted into Microsoft's Exchange Online Protection (EOP) service. This service is part of Office 365 and will begin on Monday, February 8, 2016. This service comes at no cost to the University.

Although this new service applies to UNH faculty and staff who have Exchange accounts, UNH students have enjoyed this additional protection since 2013 through Microsoft Office 365.

It doesn't matter how UNH faculty and staff access their email, whether through Outlook, Outlook Web App (OWA - exchange.unh.edu) or through a mobile device, the protection will be in place. Exchange users will not notice any aesthetic change to either Outlook or OWA, they may notice a decrease in spam.
