Spaulding G68 Cluster Closing

December 3, 2015

by UNH AT Staff

The Spaulding G68 Student Computing Cluster will close at the end of the Fall 2015 semester.

Use of the 8 dual-platform computers in this room has declined over the last few years with the room rarely seeing more than 1 or 2 users and never getting beyond 80% capacity utilization during the Spring 2015 semester.  After discussion with the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture and the UNH Library, Academic Technology will be moving the 8 computers from Spaulding to the Natural Sciences Resource Center (NSRC) space on the 2nd floor of Dimond Library.  The NSRC space already has a small number of computers, and this addition of machines will make it a more fully featured location that is still focused around the COLSA students.

The current Cluster will remain open through the end of finals.  It will close on Monday, December 21.
