Still Cameras

This camera offers high quality video and precise control over the camera's settings. All video is recorded to an SD at 1080p. Each camera comes with a wired lavalier microphone.

Video Cameras

The Parker Media Lab makes three different kinds of cameras available through the Multimedia Center. All three cameras circulate with an SD card, and wired external microphone to help you record the best possible audio and video. While all three models are more than adequate for completing projects, each camera offers a slight difference in features. By default the Canon HFR400 is the camera sent out when there is no preference in which camera is used. If you have a specific need for one of the models, please indicate the model camera you would like to check out. We offer the following cameras:

Canon HFR400

This is our most-rented camera. It offers a great mix between quality and ease-of-use. All video is recorded to an SD card at 1080p. Each camera comes with a wired lavalier microphone.

Canon HFG20

This camera offers high quality video and precise control over the camera's settings. All video is recorded to an SD at 1080p. Each camera comes with a wired lavalier microphone.

GoPro Hero 2

This waterproof, dust proof camera is specially designed for extreme conditions. Take it biking, skateboarding, swimming, and more! Create videos, photos, and time-lapses. All video is recorded to an SD card at 1080p.

Audio Recorders

The TASCAM DR-1 puts world-dominating power into your pocket. Its built-in stereo microphones include a unique variable angle mechanism, so you can set it to record from any angle. The DR-1 is the first portable recorder to include a 1GB card, so you'll have plenty of CD or MP3-quality recording time for long rehearsals and concerts. And with a street price of just $299, everyone's gonna want one.

A pair of microphones is mounted on a variable angle mechanism, which allows the recorder to record from almost any angle. The built-in stereo condenser microphones are arranged for a wide stereo image, and an external mic can also be used. The unit includes a generous 1GB SD card for hours of recording at MP3 or WAV file formats. The DR-1 also includes auto gain control and analog limiting for easy setup and a low-frequency cutoff to eliminate handling or wind noise.
