Website Accounts

Website accounts are required to access websites hosted in either the Drupal or static HTML environments. You can request an account through the UNH IT Accounts Management System. Here are the steps:

For UNH/USNH faculty, staff and students:

To request a website account for yourself go to accounts.unh.edu  and

  1. sign in using your UNH/USNH username and password;
  2. click the "+ Add" block, then "Request Access for Yourself" (below the + Add block);
  3. Confirm your own account and supervisor information, then click "Next";
  4. Check off "Communication and Collaboration," then "Website Access," then click "Next";
  5. Fill in the Site Information section, then click ”Next”;
  6. Submit the request.

To request a website account for an employee go to accounts.unh.edu and

  1. Sign in using your UNH/USNH username and password;
  2. Click the "+ Add" block, then " Request Access for an Employee" (below the + Add block);
  3. Confirm your own account info and click "Next";
  4. Enter employee and supervisor info and click “Next”;
  5. Check off "Communication and Collaboration," then "Website Access," then click "Next";
  6. Fill in the Site Information section, then click ”Next”;
  7. Submit the request.

To request a website account for a student go to accounts.unh.edu and

  1. Sign in using your UNH username and password;
  2. Click the "+ Add" block, then " Request Access for an Employee" (below the + Add block);
  3. Confirm your own account info and click "Next";
  4. Enter student info - DO NOT USE SEARCH FUNCTION:
    1. Enter Username;
    2. Enter First/M/Last name;
    3. Enter and confirm email (studentID@wildcats.unh.edu);
    4. Phone number for student, if available, or your own otherwise;
    5. Campus is typically "UNH";
    6. Affiliation = Staff;
    7. Department is optional;
    8. Check the box under Supervisor Information to auto-fill your own info;
    9. Click “Next”;
  5. Check off "Communication and Collaboration," then "Website Access," then click "Next";
  6. Fill in the Site Information section, then click ”Next”;
  7. Submit the request.

For contractors and affiliates:

The process starts with requesting a Sponsored Account. See Sponsored User FAQ for details and instructions.

To request a website account for a sponsored user go to accounts.unh.edu and

  1. Sign in using your UNH username and password;
  2. Click the "+ Add" block, then " Request Access for an Employee" (below the + Add block);
  3. Confirm your own account info and click "Next";
  4. Enter user info - DO NOT USE SEARCH FUNCTION:
    1. enter Username;
    2. enter First/M/Last name;
    3. enter and confirm Email;
    4. enter Phone Number for user;
    5. Campus is typically "UNH";
    6. Affiliation is typically "Staff";
    7. Department is optional;
    8. Check the box under Supervisor Information to auto-fill your own info;
    9. Click “Next”;
  5. Check off "Communication and Collaboration," then "Website Access," then click "Next";
  6. Fill in the Site Information section, then click ”Next”;
  7. Submit the request.
