Skype for Business 2015 - Logging In

What information is required to log in to Skype for Business?


If you are not already logged into Skype for Business on your workstation or device, you may be prompted to log in.  On modern devices and modern versions of Office, you will prompted to login via the familiar UNH login screen.


Otherwise, you may need the following information: 

  • Sign-in address: Your Email Address, for instance an or email address
  • User Name: Your username @ your primary affiliation, example or - The User Name field may only be accessible after accessing Advanced Options on some clients
  • Password: Your password


Windows Instructions

  • Enter your email address.
  • Click the " Sign In" button.
  • If prompted, enter your password.
  • You can choose whether to save your login information.
  • Click the "Sign In" button.
  • If Skype for Business has trouble logging in, you may need to enter your User Name.
  • Click the "Sign In" button.


Mac OS X Instructions

  • Log in with your email address, User Name and password.
  • You may choose to "Remember my password."
  • Click the "Sign In" button.

iOS Instructions

  • Open the Skype for Business iOS app.
  • If prompted to allow Notifications from the app, choose either "Don't Allow" or "OK."
  • When prompted for the email address and password, click Show Advanced Options.
  • Fill in your email address, the password, and your User Name.
  • Scroll down and click "Sign in."


Android Instructions

  • Open the Skype for Business Android app.
  • Fill in your email address in the "Organization sign-in address" and password.
  • Click "Advanced options."
  • Fill in your email address, the password, and your User Name.
  • Click "Advanced options" again.
  • Click the Sign-in arrow.
