Installing Internet Explorer 11 via ConfigMan

Workstations that are managed with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMan) will receive Internet Explorer 11 through an automatic software push.  Users will see notifications which may vary depending on version of IE that is currently installed, or applications that are running when the install process begins.

 You may see these messages prior to the install of IE11:



You will see this message.  Click Install to begin.

You may see this message.  Save your work and click Close programs for me.


You will see a progress bar.


You may see a restart message.  Restart your computer to complete the installation.


When first launched, Internet Explorer will prompt for settings.  Accept the recommended security  selection.


Change the selection to Keep Current Settings when prompted.
